You an use one of the following options below to schedule the running of an Activate Connector:

**Option 1:  Scheduled job (Preferred)**

1. Create task that runs the connector workflows.
2. Set actions on scheduler to run the task.
3. Errors will be logged to this job
4. Ensure email on catch and at end of workflow that sends an email to a mailbox that is monitored if any errors have occurred in the job

**Pros:**

- Errors will be logged to the job

**Cons:**

- Harder to setup.
- Can cause noise in the job list.

**Option 2:  Scheduled workflow**

1. Set actions on Scheduler to point at FullWorkflow parameters on connector.
2. Schedule to run at a specific time each day.
3. Ensure ErrorNotificationTo and ErrorNotificationMessage on Resources > Schedulers are set and point to a user or role with mailboxes.
4. Test that errors turn up in this mailbox

**Pros:**

- Simple to set up

**Cons:**

- No job to log errors to
