## Issue

A warning is logged to the Windows Server Event Log under Activate Web source with the text "**Session.Create Slow Name Resolution: Name=\[Current user's domain name], Time = Xsecs"**

## Solution

This warning is logged when it takes longer than 10 seconds to resolve a user when a session is created on Activate Web. This is unlikely to be an Activate issue and normally indicates a slow LDAP query issue which could be related to Domain Controller performance or replication within the environment.
