## Issue

If a Windows 7 machine is rebooted after installing Activate Credential Provider, pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del results in the login screen with only one tile named ‘Other User’. A click on the ‘Other User’ tile results in a second logon screen, with one tile for user logon and the other for ‘Other User’. These tiles contain a link to Activate’s password reset feature.

## Cause

The Windows 7 GPO on the machine is set to:

‘Enable’ on the setting ‘Interactive logon: Do not display the last user name’

This setting results in the Windows Generic Credential Provider tile ‘Other User’ to appear before Activate’s Credential Provider tiles.

## Workaround

Set the machine specific setting:

‘Interactive logon: Do not display the last user name’

Set to Disabled in the applied GPO for the Windows 7 machine, apply gpupdate /force, and reboot.
