Orphan jobs are jobs that have been submitted but have no workflow events and remain stuck in a running state without being processed.  The conditions to meet to be classified as an orphan job are:

- Job status is incomplete
- Job has no entries in the WorkflowEvent table
- Job has job actions.

This can happen if a workflow is set to synchronous and there was a problem executing the job for example.

Activate Orchestrator checks for these every hour and adds a workflow event for each orphan job.
