## Overview

Custom SVG and PNG images can be imported into Activate and reused across objects such as services. Images are stored centrally and referenced by name.

## Prerequisites

- Access to Activate Studio
- SVG or PNG image files available locally

## Image Storage Location

Images are managed under:
**Resources → Configuration → Web → Images**

## Steps to Import an SVG or PNG Image

1. Navigate to:
    **Resources → Configuration → Web → Images**
2. Create a new parameter:
   - Set the type to **SVG Image** or **PNG Image**
   - Assign a unique name (e.g., laptop.svg or laptop.png)
3. Open the parameter:
   - Double-click the newly created parameter
4. Import the image:
   - Click **Import**
   - Select the desired SVG or PNG file from your local system

## Using the Imported Image

1. Create or open the target object (e.g., a service)
2. Add a new parameter:
   - Type: **String**
   - Name: e.g., Image
3. Set the parameter value:
   - Enter the exact name of the imported image parameter (e.g., laptop.svg)

## Additional Notes

- The image name must match exactly when referenced.
- Images are reusable across multiple objects once imported.
- Ensure file formats match the parameter type (SVG or PNG).
