The popular items control appears in the sidebar as suggestions when browsing services.

## Steps

The popular items control is first populated from service references on the current service or below named “Favorite\*”, where \* is a wildcard, e.g. Favorite1, Favorite2 will all be included.

It is then populated from the most commonly requested services.

Once the number of items in the control reaches the max number of items (specified on the control, default is 9) then it stops adding suggested services.

### Q.   Is it possible to hide a service from appearing under 'Popular Items' when navigating through the services?

If the popular service has been added as a Favorite parameter that references the service on another service then removing this reference will remove the service as a popular/suggested item.  If the service has been added because it is commonly ordered then there is no current way to remove it from the list.
