### Overview

Access to Web Studio in Activate is controlled through system roles. Users must be assigned the appropriate role to access the Studio interface.

### Read-Only Access Configuration

To grant a user read-only access to Web Studio:

1. Add the user to the **Web Administrators** role.
   - If the role does not exist, create it under `System > Roles`
2. Do **not** assign any additional permissions.
   - Out of the box, users in this role do not have manage rights.
   - This allows access to view Web Studio without the ability to make changes.

### Important Notes

- Without the **Web Administrators** role (or **Administrators** role), users cannot access Web Studio.
- Read-only access is achieved by granting access via role membership only, without additional permissions.
