Configure Azure Users Role

configure the azure users role navigate to //roles/system roles/azure users set the members parameter to azure users open the members parameter click browse from the look in dropdown, select the azure dn , then click find select the users ou , then click ok rename the parameter to members syncing from active directory view the role members, then click sync cache from ad the result should display a successful sync of users, roles, and groups similar to the following starting 14/02/2020 9 21 52 am 14/02/2020 9 21 52 am start user sync 14/02/2020 9 23 27 am user sync finished count=6275 14/02/2020 9 23 27 am start group sync 14/02/2020 9 23 27 am group sync finished count=0 14/02/2020 9 23 27 am start role sync 14/02/2020 9 23 28 am role sync finished count=0 finished elapsed time 00 01 35 3221137 verify cached azure accounts open the activate studio active directory search change the search source to azure leave the search box empty and click search the result should display a list of cached azure accounts configure the azure sync schedule a regular sync of azure users and groups is required for full functionality this process fetches users and groups that have changed since the last sync and updates the activate cache navigate to //resources/scheduler/azure sync set enabled = true right click azure sync scheduler resource → all tasks → edit scheduler settings apply the following recommended configuration schedule every hour mode delta sync (only syncs recent changes to users and groups) a delta sync runs quickly and maintains the accuracy of user and group information without requiring a full refresh
