The configuration options for the **Anywhere Web Site** are stored in the **Activate instance** that you are connecting to.

# Configuration Options

They can be modified in **Activate Studio **by editing the parameters under this resource

## BannerLogo

The path to the image to use as the logo in the banner.

## custom.less

Activate uses the **.less** JavaScript CSS pre-processor to simplify stylesheet maintenance for the site.


This is the LESS file that can be customized for the Activate Anywhere site.

## ContentSecurityPolicy

This parameter defines the Content Security Policy (CSP) applied to all pages in Activate Anywhere.

The CSP helps protect against cross-site scripting (XSS), data injection, and other web-based attacks by specifying which content sources are permitted to load in the browser.

## DisableCache

LESS caches CSS rather than recompiling it each time a page is displayed.
 When this parameter is set to **True**, the .less file is compiled on every page load.

This option is intended for **development use only** while styling changes are being tested.

## GeneralSettings

This parameter sets:

- The **page title** and **banner** for all Activate Anywhere pages. 
- The **title** for the home.aspx page. 

Other settings are for compatibility with the **External Password Reset** site and do not apply here.

## LoginNotification

This is the email template for the email that is sent to users when they login via Activate Anywhere.

## RegistrationTask

This is the Activate task that is submitted with the new registration details.

## RemoteAccess

This XML parameter configures options for remote access.

| requireTerms             | Has no effect.                                              | false   |
| tokenSettings/timeout    | Duration (minutes) before a user token expires.             | 90      |
| tokenSettings/autoRenew  | Automatically renew the token while the user is active.     | true    |
| tokenSettings/requireSSL | Requires SSL for remote access. Recommended for production. | false   |

## SecuritySettings

This XML parameter controls user and IP-level lockout and captcha options.

## TermsAndConditions

This parameter contains the **HTML** for the Terms and Conditions that users must accept before registering for a new account.

## Theme.less

This is the **default **LESS file that defines the site’s base CSS.
