Activate 8.4.3 is a hotfix release that resolves a critical installer bug affecting Anywhere deployments.

## Anywhere Installer Fix

In environments where an Anywhere instance and an Activate Server instance share the same name (for example, both named "Production"), the installer could incorrectly deploy Anywhere files into the Activate Server directory during installation or upgrade. This has been resolved. The installer now correctly identifies and targets the appropriate directory for each instance type.

## Who Is Affected

This issue affects environments where an Anywhere instance shares its name with an Activate Server instance and an Anywhere installation or upgrade was performed using 8.4.0, 8.4.1, or 8.4.2. Environments where Anywhere and Server instances use different names are not affected.

## Recovery

If a previous Anywhere upgrade corrupted an Activate Server instance, redeploy the Activate Server from the 8.4.3 package to restore the correct files. If the Activate and Anywhere instances use different names, no action is required.

Customers currently validating an older 8.4.x build can use the 8.4.3 installer to deploy it safely. The bug is isolated to the installer itself, so the 8.4.3 installer can be used to install any earlier 8.4.x version of Activate without issue.

## Upgrade Notes

No new prerequisites. Apply the 8.4.3 update using the standard installer process. This fix should be applied before performing any further Anywhere upgrades in affected environments.
