## Important Impersonation Security Update

- This resolves a security vulnerability introduced in Activate v8.2.5 regarding impersonation.
- Improved the security and auditability of Activate's Impersonation feature. Now, impersonation is disabled out of the box, and users need to be explicitly added to a new Impersonate role. Please refer to [Impersonate a User](docId\:TsJbnTuH5_FubpGurJM-A)  for more information on how to enable and use impersonation.
