## General

- Added ability to resubmit a task and resume for a specific point in the workflow
- Delegation – set MinDate on controls to today
- Generic Cart Confirm – Request Reason Required depends upon the settings of all children
- Fix issue where images in Notes/Forwarding where not saved to the job. So could be deleted after 30 days.
- Added NOT support for DLs’/Teams MembersDynamic
- Exchange Resources – allow ConnectAs
- Fix issue with Deleted Users not being loaded if the @domain.com is specified in the search
- Auto hide a job that has just been approved/declined when showing JobList – to give time for the approval to be processed.
- Fixed issue where escalating to a Role did not work sometimes
- Added support for adding services etc to Managed Service Accounts (These accounts appear as user accounts)
- Replaced default workflow escalations to =//Roles/System Roles/Service Desk to =/Task/DefaultApprovers. This allows DefaultApprovers to be overridden on tasks without needing to edit the workflows.
- Allow replacement filters to be specified in AvailableXXX parameters (filter=\*)=>(folder2=\*)



## Web Site

- Fixed issue with Multi-select grid where a double click in Edit mode would delete the row
- Changed JobDetails toolbar to a configurable toolbar – Web.Instance.Properties.Toolbar
- Added ability to override browsing in the Web.
  - Web.Flags = AlwaysShowProperties
- Allow Configuration/EnableServiceCosts = false to hide costs when rendering service instances.
- Workflow summary – removed (to be decided)
- Allow HTML Placeholder on HTML Editors
- Updated HTML Editor to V3 and updated toolbars
- Fixed reflection XSS possible vulnerability with TabControl
- Increased checking for possible XSS issues



## Workflow

- Enhanced ability to prevent users from submitting approvals in specific situations.
  - For example, this can check that users that are delegated approvals and are the target user cannot approve a request. If denied the user will be sent to an ‘ApprovalForward’ page where they will be able to forward this request to the appropriate person.
- The target users/roles etc that a user can select to Forward an approval to can now be customised by specifying a ‘Web.Approval.Forward’ form on the task.
- Changed the use of Workflow Strings from a per Activate Administrator setting to an Activate System setting.
  - In previous versions it was possible for some users to have disabled workflow strings and some to have these enabled. This caused confusion the multiple people were editing the same workflows.
  - This setting can now be specified on a per Workflow basis or the default value can be set on a task using DefaultEnableWorkflowStrings (Default value is true).
- Allow MaxTimes on an execute to be set to ‘0’. This means that is the script crashes the Job Service then the script will NOT be retried. By default the script will get tried once more.



## Services

- Added OrderProcess/Service.Order.Flags = ManageServiceInstance to allow the order process to manage the lifecycle of the service instance. This is similar to ‘OrderOnly’ but is controlled by the order process. The Order process must Create/Update/Delete the service instance as required. This can be used to ensure that the OrderProcess is complete before actually creating the Service Instance.
- RequiredService parameters now support GroupedServices with selected options.
  - If the grouped service is SingleOnly then existing items are removed and replaced with the new item.
- Added new LastUpdated datetime to database for reporting
- Added pending jobs to UpdateServices rendering.

## Activate Anywhere

- Allow TOTP as 2 factor for login



## Password Reset

- Allow TOTP as 2 factor authentication
- Added QRCode registration



## Connectors

- Fix issue where notifications set to a Role did not work.



## Forms

- Allow AutoSave of forms – enabled for Articles by default.
  - The autosave timeout can be set on the form settings in Web.Wizard.



# Search

- Updated AutoSearchControl to work on general controls. Allows auto search to log a call etc to be popups.
- Updated Tabs to display categories for non services. Ie Articles, DL, Mailbox, Team
- Improved search times for large sites



## Articles

- Added Search control to properties
- Added ability to stay viewing properties when browsing tree for certain object types.
- Ability to move articles via the web.



## REST API

- Allow Customised authentication for different API’s
- Allow OAuth Authenication
- Allow APIKey authentication
- Added HTTP Method support for PATH/DELETE/PUT



## Exchange Server

- Allow Default ExchangeServer parameters to be set on //Resources/ActiveDirectory/xxxx
  - This allow default Exchange Servers to be specified for specific domains. For example, Azure defaults to the Office365 server.



## Azure / Office 365

- Added azureID and azureUPN to the ADCache table
- AzureUPN is required for Shared Mailboxes where PowerShell only returns the UPN and not the email address
- Removed limitation that the users on-premise and Azure UPN must match
- Groups are now synced with the On-premise SID to enhance matching
- Import groupUsage to include Azure. SecurityEnabled, MailEnabled, TeamEnabled, Office365 group



## Shared Mailboxes

- Breaking Change: The shared mailbox sync now depends upon having an Azure User sync setup
  - The MemberOU parameter is now the **Users **OU from Azure and NOT the hardcoded string ‘Office365’
- Allow UPN’s of users or groups to be different from on-premise
- Enhanced support for AzureOnly mailboxes and users
- Azure SharedMailboxes DN is now the Azure DN and not the UPN as in previous versions
- Added the ability to search for mailboxes by email address
- Added ProxyAddressList control to properties page to display all email addresses for a mailbox



## Folders

- Added the ability in ACL definitions to have ‘-files’ modifier which means the ace in container inherit only
- Added the ability in ACL definitions to have ‘-deny’ modifier to create a deny ace. Users\:d-deny – would stop users deleting files/folders



## Teams

- Sync Azure Groups with Team Usage information
- Update Team Sync to use Group / Team Usage information
- Improved linking accounts by using azureID rather than matching UPN 

## Admin

- Connector Workflow Editor
  - Added Function Name for execute
- Connector Data UI
  - Added confirm for manually running workflows
  - Allow a workflow to be run for specific rows only
- AD Properties
  - Enhance display to translate Dates etc.
- Added UPN to properties for a user and display in User Properties
- Forms Editor
  - Fix issue where renaming binding of lists did not work as expected
  - Fix issue where duplicate bindings could be created sometimes.
- List Item Editor
  - Fix issue with detection of duplicates on a rename of a value
- Added Role Reference -> Goto
- Fixed issue with Cut/Paste/Refresh where it was possible using a certain sequence to create a recursive tree of objects
- Check for UAC Admin access for critical functions (ie Upgrade) and allow the user to restart as an Admin
- Master Sites
  - Allow Network connection user to be set to impersonate a different user
  - Allow Network Credentials parameter instead of embedding credentials in the XML.
- Enhanced Intellisense
  - Provide function hints and lookup
  - Increase dropdown size and location handling
- New Command line options
  - UPGRADEDB – force DB upgrade / reupgrade
  - INSTALLPACKAGES – reload packages
- Added ActivateSetup.exe to boot strap UAC privileges for installation
- Enhance Schema read process to keep the LDAP Connection open.




## Activate 7.1.0a - 22nd Jan 2020

## Activate 7.1.1 - 20th April 2020

This version is a patch for 7.1.0 to enable OAuth authentication for Exchange Online which was due to be mandatory in Oct 2020.

- **Important**: Changed to OAuth as default authentication method for Exchange Online
  - **WARNING**: This requires //Resources/ActiveDirectory/External Directories/Azure/TentantName to be set on upgrade
    - Note: This will still use the credentials at //Resources//Configuration/Office365/Credentials to log into Exchange PowerShell.
  - OAuth is recommended by Microsoft but can be disabled by setting //Resources/Exchange Servers/Office365/OAuthEnabled to false
  - A new RemotePowerShell subclass 'ExchangeOnline' should be used in all custom scripts that directly access Exchange Online. If this not done then these scripts will continue to use Basic Authentication. This will stop working when Microsoft disable basic authentication.

- General
  - Fixed issue with allowing standard properties to be added to ADCacheCustom. Previously they needed to be in the custom schema.
  - Fixed Azure import issue which can cause ADCache rows for deleted and recreated users with the same DN to be reenabled
  - Fix an issue with Job Attachments not being attached to a job if it was added to the shopping cart. All attachments will now be in Job.Attachments.
  - Fix issue with Access Rights on being honored on MenuLinks for Service Instances
  - Fix issue with multiple status checks on RunCompleteWorkflow
  - Fix issue with back button in OrderService.aspx duplicating a service id.
  - Fix issue with ManageServiceInstance still saving the serviceinstance changes
  - Fix issue with some cultures use a '-' character as a special encoding.
  - Added NameEx to searcher as additional column - this allows searching for email address to work correctly for users.
  - Fix issue with ProvisioningDirectorSearcher optimising and or node incorrectly.
- New Password Credential Provider
  - Support for high DPI screens
  - Dropped Windows 8 support because Windows 8 is out of support. Support versions are Windows 10 or higher.
  - If you still have Windows 8 machines please continue to use the previous version of Credential Provider.
  - This is backwards compatible with V6.5.1 Password service, so can be used for customers with High DPI screens and Activate V6.5.1.
- Connectors
  - Fix issue with change handler getting script. The default context is now the provider not the object row.
  - Added addMember and removeMember support for roles.
- Web Changes
  - Fix SortOrder issue for resources in ListPanel and Dropdowns
  - Fix issue with FileUpload control not showing custom error message
  - Fix issue when changing page size if the page index is then too high. Defaults to resetting page index to 0 if page size is changed.
  - Allow CanResubmit to be disabled for specific tasks.
  - Allow per user ThemeNames to be used.
  - Fix is autosave issue for jobs that are pending.
  - Adding missing AutoExpire32.png
- Administrator changes
  - Fix issue with setting parent wait on a Delay node in the workflow.
  - Fix issue with Showing a Manager if it is a contact.
  - Fix issue with displaying properties for a deleted computer.
- Activate Anywhere
  - Enable authentication 'slidingExpiration' . slidingExpiration was not enabled by default. This meant that sessions could timeout after a fixed time rather than being automatically renewed if in use.
